Rose Checkermallow (Sidalcea virgata) is a native wildflower of the Pacific Northwest and are found in meadows, open fields, and along streams. This fast-growing and long-lived plant is mostly successful in moist riparian areas and makes a great addition to a rain garden. The pink flowers attract pollinators and are a favorite of butterflies.
