Also known as Mountain Strawberry, or Virginia Strawberry, this native groundcover can also be found all over the United States. This plant spreads very fast by sending out runners and through the dispersal of seeds in its small but delicious strawberries. The ease with which this plant spreads can help it out compete other groundcover weeds and will also benefit local pollinators with its white flowers. Leaves are toothed and blueish green and have 3 leaflets.
