Low Oregon Grape (Mahonia nervosa)

Evergreen understory shrub with multiple habitat benefits. Holly-like leaflets are paired with yellow flowers in the spring and dusty blue fruits in the summer. Pennate leaves on low stems that arch out from the center. Creates a good low understory cover in shaded areas. Good for dry to moist shaded understory. Excellent food source for a range of species with foliage, flowers, and berries benefiting multiple niches.
