Riverbank Lupine also known as streambank lupine or riverside lupine, is a very beautiful native understory plant that can help out-compete some of the other weeds on wet areas of the property. This plant is fast growing with both beautiful palmate leaves, as well as pleasantly scented purple flowers that bloom in Spring/Early Summer. Growing very fast and fixing nitrogen, this plan is great for streamside areas where erosion may be a concern.
