Western Bleeding Heart (Dicentra formosa ssp. formosa) has pink, heart-shaped flowers in spring to summer. This is a great species for shady pollinator gardens, attracting hummingbirds, caterpillars, bumblebees, and others. The lacy blue-green leaves also make an excellent ground cover.
