Snowberry (Symphoricarpos albus) has small, opposite leaves and small flower clusters followed by large, snow-white fruit which last well into winter. This hollow-stemmed shrub has tiny, pinkish-white, bell-shaped flowers in small terminal or axillary clusters. Spreading mostly by suckers, Snowberry can form dense thickets to provide valuable shelter for wildlife.
